The Superior fans enjoyed the offense provided by Pennington. He stroked a
one-base hit scoring two baserunners in the 1st inning, doubled in the 2nd
inning, slapped a single in the 4th inning and tripled in the 5th inning.
Superior ended up with 18 hits for the game while Tinley had 3.

The victory was credited to Javier Vazquez(2-8) who went 6 innings, allowing
no runs. Cory Luebke got the save, his 1st. Justin Masterson(6-8) absorbed
the loss. He allowed 5 hits and 1 walk in 2/3 of an inning.
