The Superior Blues pitching coach might be looking for a new job soon. His
team allowed 17 runs while Tim Lincecum(8-3), with relief help from Edward
Mujica, allowed Superior 4 runs in a laugher.

Springfield scored 12 runs in the 3rd inning when they had 10 base hits. That
was all the offense they were to need. Springfield bats were very productive
in the 3rd inning with 12 runs on 10 hits and the 7th inning when they had 4
runs on 3 hits. Springfield ended up with 16 hits for the game while
Superior had 6.

Javier Vazquez(6-2) was the losing pitcher. He was knocked around by
Springfield, allowing 5 hits and 2 walks in 2 and 1/3 innings. 'It's been a
rough ride lately, but this was a good win for us' said Monty Burns, 'Maybe
this will put us back on track.'
