Pineda(8-4) had a strong outing. He surrendered only 1 hit and 2 walks in 7 innings improving his ERA from 3.02 to 2.80. Both teams' bats went to sleep after the 4th inning with no runs scored after that point. Sergio Romo recorded the save, his 1st. Kevin Correia(0-1) suffered the loss. With this win, Superior has a 34-34 record. They have been 6-4 lately. Not able to get much going in recent weeks, Schaumburg is 0-10 of late and now has an overall record of 19-38, worst in the division.
