One run was the difference at SAFECO Field as the Superior Blues defeated the
West Hills Bravos in 11 innings 2 to 1.
 
Both teams had scored 1 runs after nine full innings.  Superior won the game
in the 11th inning.  After two outs Juan Pierre laced a base-hit.  Dane De La
Rosa then let one slip out of his hand for a wild pitch.  Kyle Seager then
ripped a base-knock making Superior the winners and sending the 30,059 fans
home happy.  West Hills had 11 hits in the game while Superior had 5, but
Superior had the more timely hits.  
 
The winning pitcher was Craig Stammen(1-0) who allowed no runs in 3 innings.
De La Rosa(1-1) suffered the loss in relief.  He was unable to retire a
batter and surrendered 2 hits and no walks.
