Left fielder Nyjer Morgan had 2 base hits and Ubaldo Jimenez whiffed 10
batters as the Springfield Isotopes defeated the Superior Blues by a score of
10 to 1 at SAFECO Field.
 
Jimenez(3-6) looked very much in control throughout the night.  He was stingy
on the mound, allowing just 3 hits and 4 walks in 7 innings lowering his ERA
from 4.89 to 4.56.  Springfield had 16 hits for the game and Superior had 3.
 
Felix Hernandez(3-9) took the loss.  Springfield knocked him around a bit, as
he gave up 7 runs in 2 and 1/3 innings.  'Everything felt great' Jimenez
said. 'I had a good fastball, I felt I could throw it by everybody tonight.'
