Shane Victorino went yard and had 3 RBI as the dominant Simi Valley Vikings
defeated the Superior Blues by a score of 4 to 2 at SAFECO Field.
Simi Valley jumped on top to stay in the top of the 2nd inning plating one
baserunner utilizing 2 base hits. Simi Valley took care of Superior with no
trouble in the bottom of the 9th.
The victory was credited to David Price(16-10) who went 7 and 1/3 innings,
allowing 2 runs. Price got relief help from Nick Hagadone who gained credit
for his 1st save. Anthony Vasquez(0-1) was the loser. He was stingy with
the baserunners, allowing just 5 hits and no walks in 7 innings.
