Rob Johnson jacked one out of the ballyard and had 2 RBI as the Superior Blues
outscored the Simi Valley Vikings 5 to 1.
Superior had 3 runs cross the plate in the bottom of the 2nd inning when they
came up with 3 base hits. The early run support proved sufficient for Carlos
Zambrano(10-5) and Superior. That was all the run support Zambrano required.
Superior had 9 hits for the afternoon.
Brad Bergesen(8-3) ended up with the loss. He pitched 5 and 2/3 innings
allowing 8 hits and no walks.
