The North Georgia Yellow Jackets ended a long winless drought and nipped the
Superior Blues 5 to 4 at SAFECO Field in a hard fought contest.
North Georgia scored all of the necessary runs in the 3rd inning when they
tallied 5 runs on 2 hits. That was all the offense they were to need. After
the 3rd inning, neither team was able to score.
Dustin Moseley(1-0) allowed 4 runs in 7 innings, and picked up the victory.
Sean Burnett earned the save, his 1st. Tommy Hanson(3-2) ended up with the
loss. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 5 runs in 2 and 2/3
innings.
