Jason Heyward cracked a homer and had 3 RBI and Matt Garza had a strong outing
at SAFECO Field where the dominant Santa Barbara Outlaws beat the Superior
Blues 7 to 1.
 
Garza(13-7) contributed a very nicely pitched game.  He didn't give up much,
just 1 hit and 3 walks in 7 innings.  Overall Santa Barbara out-hit Superior
13 to 3.  
 
Javier Vazquez(0-5) took the loss.  He gave up 9 hits and 4 walks in 7
