Mat Latos delivered 6 solid innings at SAFECO Field as the Florence River Bats
beat the Superior Blues 4 to 1.
Latos(7-9) was solid in the win. He was stingy on the mound, allowing just no
hits and 1 walk in 6 innings. Overall Florence out-hit Superior 7 to 3.
Latos got help from Derek Holland who was credited with his 3rd save. Anibal
Sanchez(7-9) was the losing pitcher. 'It felt really nice to get this win,'
Latos said. 'I kind of dictated the game. It's what I get paid to do. It
worked out this time.'
