Right fielder Jose Bautista rocketed 2 homeruns and had 6 RBI and Ian Kennedy
had a complete game as the California Roadrunners bested the Superior Blues
11 to 3 at SAFECO Field.
Bautista had a big day with his bat. He popped a two-run clout over the fence
in the 3rd inning, doubled with all three baserunners touching home in the
6th inning and clubbed a solo home run in the 9th inning. California totaled
12 hits on the night.
Kennedy(9-7), allowing 3 runs for the game, picked up the victory. Anibal
Sanchez(7-8) was the loser. He got hit hard, allowing 11 hits and 3 walks in
6 innings.
'I had good swings tonight,' Bautista said, 'Everything felt right'.
