At SAFECO Field, the Superior faithful were treated to an intriguing pitcher's
duel.  Kyle Kendrick(1-0) finally bested his Superior counterpart, Matt
Cain(1-1), by the score of 2 to 1.
 
SoCal came up with 2 runs in the top of the 7th inning when they came up with
3 base hits.  Matt Holliday kicked off the action when he lined a single.
After an out was recorded, David Ross stepped in and he doubled.  Eric Thames
struck out, unable to help the rally.  Justin Maxwell was up next and he
doubled.  SoCal managed only 5 hits on the night.  
 
Brandon League recorded his 2nd save.  Cain suffered the loss.  He surrendered
2 runs and 4 hits in 6 and 2/3 innings.
