Right fielder Justin Upton hit a homerun and had 2 RBI at SAFECO Field where
the Superior Blues beat the SoCal Wildfires 9 to 2.
Superior set the tone of the game in the first inning when they scored 3 runs
on 5 hits. That scoring would be all that was needed. Superior had 11 hits
overall, while SoCal had 7.
The win went to Bronson Arroyo(1-0) who allowed 2 runs in 7 innings. Jerome
Williams(0-1) was the loser. He allowed 3 runs and 5 hits in 2/3 of an
