48,093 fans watched an exciting game at SAFECO Field.  The Superior Blues
topped the Plaza Lions by the slimmest of margins, 2 to 1.
 
The score was tied at 1 after nine.  Finally, Superior pulled the game out in
the 10th inning.  Kurt Suzuki stroked a base-hit.  Ichiro Suzuki followed and
he laid down a sacrifice bunt.  After another out, Justin Upton came to the
plate and stroked a one-base hit giving Superior the win and sending the home
town fans into a frenzy.  Superior had 8 hits for the game and Plaza had 4.
 
Jeff Gray(2-1) went 4 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Antonio
Bastardo(4-2) suffered the loss in relief.  He pitched 1 and 2/3 innings and
surrendered 3 hits and 2 walks.
