First baseman Derrek Lee blasted a homerun and had 2 RBI and Shaun Marcum had
a strong outing at SAFECO Field as the Plaza Lions beat the Superior Blues in
10 innings by the count of 4 to 2.
 
Both teams were tied at 2 runs apiece after nine innings.  Plaza ended up
winning it in the 10th inning.  Andres Torres led off and started the rally
when he reached on an error.  Aaron Hill stepped up to the plate and he laid
down a sacrifice bunt.  Lee then blasted a two-run home run.  Superior was
set down quietly in the bottom of the 10th.  
 
Jordan Walden(3-1) got the win allowing no runs in 2 innings. Antonio Bastardo
was credited with his 2nd save.  Kameron Loe(3-3) was the loser in relief.
 
'Thankfully we got ourselves a win', Walden said.  'It's great to be back on
the winning side of things.'
